Pardon Me
Today has been an okay Monday, surprisingly. There are a lot of useless reason why today was the opposite of awesome. Mondays are my DAY OFF…typically at least. When the holidays creep their head out all my Mondays OFF disappear. Usually we are off the last two weeks of the year. Obviously that didn’t happen this year. I just love waking up at the ass crack of dawn..SIKE! Although the 4.5 hour surgery we performed today went really smoothly I still would have rather been at home in my pj’s editing photos lookin’ a complete hot mess. To top off it being a Monday off I also forgot every single one of my CDs in my room last night. I drove to work minus the music. It was horrible. On my way home I said to hell with it and turned the whack ass radio on expecting to be disappointed I wasn’t. Once the commercial was done Pardon Me by Incubus came on.
Now here’s a little Jessica101…….I love Inucbus. You just have no IDEA. When you go through certain things in your life certain music you lean to for comfort. The times when you feel the need to escape from the world. All those times when it felt like the whole damn world is against you. The days when you were singleded out for being you and not like them. Being ridiculed for thinking outside of the box. All those times where other humans made you feel 3 inches tall. That time when you almost gave in. When you almost gave up.
Music is where I run.

Today was just shy of AMAZING. I couldn’t have asked for a better Monday and it’s not even over yet.
